Reception into The Interfaith Christian Church

For the Inquirer

Welcome in the Name of Jesus Christ. If you seek to enter The Interfaith Christian Church, use the profession below that applies to you. Place your right hand on the Holy Bible and speak the words prayerfully and sincerely before God.

If you are already baptized, use the first form. If you are not yet baptized, use the second form and seek baptism as soon as possible.

After making your profession of faith, please send us a message so that we may warmly welcome you into The Interfaith Christian Church.

For the Baptized

With my right hand upon the Holy Bible, I, N., profess the Christian faith. I believe in one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and I receive the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God. Having already received Christian baptism, I now ask to be received into The Interfaith Christian Church under Presiding Bishop Andrew Michael, and I promise, with God’s help, to live in prayer, holiness, charity, and truth as a faithful member of this Church. Amen.

For the Unbaptized

With my right hand upon the Holy Bible, I, N., renounce sin and turn to Jesus Christ. I believe in one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and I receive the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God. Not yet having received holy baptism, I now ask to enter The Interfaith Christian Church under Presiding Bishop Andrew Michael, and I promise to seek baptism as soon as possible and, with God’s help, to live in prayer, holiness, charity, and truth as a disciple of Christ within this Church. Amen.
