Most Rev. Andrew Michael, M.A., M.S., Presiding Bishop
Bishop Andrew was baptized, confirmed, and ordained to the LDS Aaronic Priesthood in 1994 by Elders Bailey and Sharp, beginning a lifelong commitment to Christian ministry and leadership. In 1998, he was baptized, Chrismated, and received first communion in the Byzantine Catholic Church by Father Steve Greskowiak, and in 1999, he was Chrismated into the Orthodox Church by Father Nicholas Bullock.
He was ordained into the minor order of Cleric by Bishop Adrian Glover and to the minor order of doorkeeper by Bishop GE Hughes in 2022. In 2022, he was ordained a Deacon by Bishop Jason Dench to serve his community, and in 2023, he was ordained a Priest and Bishop by Bishop Jason Dench. Bishop Dench was consecrated by three bishops of The New Catholic Church of North America and later founded St. Angelo Liberal Catholic Church after leaving his former jurisdiction. In 2023, Bishop Jason gave his blessing for Bishop Andrew to form a new ecclesial community.
Bishop Andrew holds a BA in Theological Studies from Saint Joseph's College of Maine and two Master of Arts degrees in Theology from Saint Leo University and Ave Maria University and a Master of Science in Christian Ministry from Amridge University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Biblical Studies, Leadership, and Ministry at Amridge University.
Bishop Andrew's vision for the Interfaith Christian Church is Christ-centered, sacramentally grounded, and ecumenically open—welcoming interfaith dialogue while remaining rooted in historic Christian faith.
